Comedy Day is a non profit event that has turned into a long-standing tradition in San Francisco. Nearly 30 of America's funniest comedians perform throughout the day free-of-charge to the public. Heavily supported by the leading Bay Area media companies, the event has attracted up to 75,000 attendees in one day. Date & Time
The date of the event varies each year but usually takes place on a Sunday afternoon in late September or early October. Click Here for this year's event information.

Location
For the past several years the event has been held at Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, near the corner of John F. Kennedy and Kezar Drives. Easily accessible by public transportation.

Performers
The Punch Line, Cobb's Comedy Club, SF Sketchfest, Pepperbelly's and Jose Simon (Executive Producer of Comedy Day) each produce a one hour set.

Many nationally known comedians have performed at Comedy Day. When in town and available, they support Comedy Day with a surprise appearance. We hope to have one or two of them back in the future: Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Whoopi Goldberg, Margaret Cho, Ellen DeGeneres, Kevin Pollack, Rob Schneider, Janeane Garafalo and Eddie Izzard.
