Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who's performing this year?
A: Check out our performers page.

Q: How do I get there?
A: Go to our directions page.

Q: Where can I park?
A: Check out our parking page.

Q: Will food be available for sale?
A: You bet! The usual fare...hamburgers, hot dogs and maybe even chicken. We’re still putting the menu together...so stay tuned! And what would Comedy Day be without Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Plus...Mary Mac‘s authentic New Orleans pralines. Comedy Day depends on the revenue we receive from our vendor sponsors to put on the big show, so please patronize 'em.

Q: What about beverages?
A: Wonderful private labeled Comedy Day wine from the folks at Vino Piazza! It retails for $18...but we’re selling it for just $10.00. Now you can’t beat that! Plus greart Gordon Biersch Beer. Coffee, maybe. Soda, and water? Of course.

Q: Can I buy an official T-shirt at the event?
A: Sorry, not this year.

Q: Can I bring a lawn chair or some other type of seating?
A: We'd prefer you didn't. We're short on space this year. Besides, they ruin the sight lines of those seated around and in back of you.

Q: What about the kids? Can we bring 'em?
A: If Comedy Day were a movie...it'd be rated PG-13. We ask our performers to "keep it clean," but occasionally an "off-color" word or topic will pop up. So, please use discretion.

Q: What about my doggie?
A: Sure, why not. Keep 'em on a leash, though, and be sure to clean up after 'em!

Q: Is Comedy Day really FREE?
A: You bet! And it has been for since 1981. This year, we've partnered with the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation. As the nation's largest philanthropy devoted exclusively to eradicating lung cancer, BJALCF works with a diverse group of physicians, organizations and individuals to identify solutions and make timely and meaningful change through research, education, screening, prevention, and treatment. So if you see them collecting money at the event, help them help others...and perhaps yourself some day. Or avoid the rush and donate now!

Q: Want to contribute to Comedy Day?
A: We could use a few bucks here and there, too! Keep the laughter coming. Comedy Day is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your contribution is tax deductible. Our Tax ID number is: 94-2945255. For more inforation click here.

Once again, Comedy Day is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization. We derive income from sponsors and vendors...please patronize our benefactors! Thank you.
